This retrospective chronicled Goetz's early years as a musician/performance artist in New York's East Village throughout the 1960s.

Spin magazine said of it "this is not dada, this is do-do. It has less sophistication than an episode of Friends! Dredging the 60s doesn't deepen anyone's experience! It only brings up filth which has to be disposed of through distribution to banal American consumers."

Nevertheless, Goetz fans heralded the record. Letters poured in thanking the family for the compilation and asking for more. We sadly replied that we were unaware of any more recordings. Henrietta appeared to have been concentrating, in the 1970s, not on music, but on a feline breeding program. Goetz had suffered a breakdown, and had seemingly abandoned music in order to produce a "Chagallico," a strain of calico cats with various Chagall reproductions in their patterns. Not at all strange, considering Goetz's history of "artistic" behavior.

Liner notes from "The Girl Next Door", from an anonymous producer, refer to rumors of Goetz's history of seeming vulgarity "Goetz shook the New York art scene when she shaped fifty pounds of falafel into a goat and publicly slaughtered it in lower Manhattan." Another report told of Goetz's arrest in Tillamook Oregon for tattooing pictures of Marshall Mcluhan on the faces of pre-pubescent boys, after bribing them with M & Ms. Sometime in 1969, Goetz was sadistically sentenced to 500 hours in a potpourri factory following the judge's discovery of her history of pollen allergies.

Rick Snarges from RKO reported. "A sniffling, sneezing Goetz called me in 69" to say that she'd taken a ton of Diphenhydramine (Bendadryl ™) and was feeling, 'sleepy and hollow,' whatever that meant. 'Have a good life Pumpkin. I'm changing my astrological sign to Studebaker. My throat is sore. I'm so horse, man!' she said, sneezing, and hanging up the phone. In retrospect I think she was having an allergy medication induced Washington Irving hallucination. I believe Studebaker, manufactured Cranes, as in Ichabod, (from the legend of Sleepy Hollow) before automobiles. I never heard from her again. Allergies induced her seclusion, and so ended Goetz's career as a musician."
